The syngas to power project is designed for utilization of the syngas from the pyrolyzer for power generation. Making full use of syngas as fuel for power generation, reducing environmental pollution, and improving energy utilization.
The Shengdong syngas fuelled genset is built as a compact package where engine and generator are connected through a coupling and are mounted to the base frame.
Shengdong engine features ‘IN-CYLINDER’ technology for syngas which mainly contains hydrogen and carbon monooxide. Four-stroke, air/gas mixture turbocharged, after-cooled, with high performance ignition system and electronically controlled air/gas mixture system.

Common characteristics of this type of syngas:
● Major flammable compositions are CO (carbon monoxide), H2 (hydrogen) and CH4 (methane).
● Syngas composition is relatively unstable and can change from time to time.
● Raw syngas contains different comtaminants like tar, H2S, and dusts/particluers.
The Shengdong syngas generator sets are supplied with automatic control, with one key start, automatic grid connection, automatic load distribution, emergency and fault shutdown protection, and equipped with a remote monitoring system, which offers the benefits of unattended operation and only requires routine inspection.
